Housing construction and sales
Stage 7A
Construction of 94 residential lots started late last year and will take around 12-14 months to complete. This month, Southdown Place, Teeswater Place, Dangar Way and Coldenham Way will be permanently closed. Subdivision works will create new roads and unlock land for more homes.
Our contractor, WEM will create an alternative walkway to maintain access to Riverside Drive and Briar Road. Works will realign Riverside Drive and Briar Road to remove the underpass and improve general safety.

Stage 7B
Construction is expected to now start in mid-2026 once demolition works are complete. The start date was pushed back due to a delay in the approval process.
Stage 9
The Endeavour Energy outage planned for January 2025 (originally scheduled for October 2024) was delayed due to an electrical storm. The works went ahead last month, and we are now moving forward with minor footpath works along Docharty Street.
Stages 10 and 13
Homes NSW is looking to start subdivision works in mid-2025.
Towner Avenue
The western part of Towner Avenue is complete and open to the public, linking St John’s Road and Creigan Road. Works to complete the eastern part of Towner Avenue are on track to start in mid-2025 once we have a civil works contractor on board.
When works are finished, Towner Avenue will connect Partridge Street and Riverside Drive, south of Newbrook Shopping Village.
Kevin Wheatley Reserve
Works at Kevin Wheatley Reserve should start again in the coming months once Council has endorsed the proposed new pre-cast concrete stormwater system.
Kevin Wheatley Reserve will feature two full-sized soccer fields with synthetic grass and lights, a new amenities building, a playground and a half-court basketball court.
The Pond
Landscaping works should start in the next few months. When finished, the upgraded pond will be a place for people to connect and relax with new plants, paths, seating and a new playground.
