Welcome to Schofields
A cool, green and sustainable neighbourhood for Sydney’s northwest
Current as at: November 2024
On-site construction activities are almost finished. The opening of Grima Street has been delayed due to required design changes with the roadworks. Works will continue shortly once we have Council approval. We expect to finish civil works by the end of this year and housing construction is likely to start, pending approvals in the second half of 2025.
Exciting News! Firstyle Homes has begun selling their brand-new homes within the project. For more information, please visit their website: www.firstyle.com.au/packages
The project
Centred on the principles of good design, diversity and liveability, Landcom’s project at Schofields in Sydney’s northwest is unlike traditional new home communities.
The project will showcase housing types that reflect the changing needs of our diverse communities, such as terraces, manor homes and innovative compact housing.
Located roughly 1.4 kilometres from Schofields Railway Station, the project will feature a significant increase in tree cover and landscaping, providing shade and helping to maintain more comfortable outdoor temperatures during warmer weather.
With 20% fewer hard surfaces and paved areas compared to standard developments, and 20% more green verge, the Schofields project will set a benchmark for liveable green streets.
These green spaces also encourage incidental play and interaction with neighbours, providing a greater sense of belonging and community connection.
